Working for Good® is a collaboration between Jeff Klein and Julie van Amerongen and our extensive network of marketing, business and organizational development professionals, designers, producers, and artists, making a difference, together.

Jeff Klein
Activator, Author, Producer + Process Facilitator

As CEO of Working for Good, Jeff Klein activates, produces and facilitates mission-based, Stakeholder Engagement Marketing™ campaigns and Conscious Culture development programs.

Jeff is a trustee and member of the Executive Committee of Conscious Capitalism, Inc. and authored the award-winning book, Working for Good: Making a Difference While Making a Living, to support conscious entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, leaders and change agents at work.

He also serves as Executive Director of Being Human.org a project of the Baumann Foundation, and is producing Being Human 2012, in San Francisco, March 24, 2012.

In collaboration with the VP of Marketing and management team of O.N.E. Coconut Water, Jeff is activating the Liquid Revolution – a movement to change our lives through the choices we make about what we drink – and managing the O.N.E. World Fund.

Jeff was one of the visionaries and driving forces behind Private Music, the career of Yanni, Spinning, Seeds of Change, ChiRunning, and FLOW. Jeff has consulted for the Esalen Institute, the National Geographic Society, GlobalGiving, the Institute of Noetic Sciences and Peace Cereal, among others.

He enjoys surfing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, ChiRunning and moving in general. He is an active father of a 13-year-old daughter, and resides in San Rafael, Calif.

Julie van Amerongen
Communicator, Coordinator + Collaborator

As Communications and Live Events Manager for Working for Good, Julie
van Amerongen communicates, collaborates and coordinates with alliance partners to support action that realizes campaign and partner goals.

Among many projects in their 11 year history, Julie was a collaborator on the award-winning book, Working for Good: Making a Difference While Making a Living.

Julie also serves as the Director of Marketing, Member Services and Events for Conscious Capitalism, Inc. where she is producing the the 2011 Conscious Capitalism CEO Summit.  She has managed marketing for The Republic of Tea, Peace Cereal and Hearts of Space Radio & Records and has produced more than 100 social service events.  She also serves on the board of Positive Legacy where she produces an annual international day of service.  Julie resides in Portland, OR.

DJ Grimes
Creative Director, Designer, Strategist + Collaborator

As Creative Director of Working for Good, DJ Grimes focuses on developing innovative, creative solutions for our partners and clients. Integrating his passion for design and marketing with the conscious mission of each project, DJ is able to bring concepts to life and emotionally connect the product with its consumer.

With over a decade of experience in both in-house and ad agency environments, as well as a personal passion for nature and health, DJ brings to the table that rare combination of strategy and compassion. He possesses insight into the psychology of design and marketing and a conscious awareness of its impact on the global community. Understanding the power of creative collaboration, DJ is comfortable both as a contributor and a leader.

A surfer for decades, DJ often generates his best ideas in the water. In addition to surfing, he enjoys playing guitar and spending time with his family. He is consistently inspired by his 3 year old daughter to do what’s right, to listen carefully and to remember to play. He resides in Orange County, California with his wife, Stephanie and daughter, Adyson.
